Giuseppe Pontiggia, detto Peppo (Como, 1934 – Milano, 2003), è stato romanziere, critico letterario, curatore editoriale e bibliofilo (accumulò una biblioteca personale di oltre 35 mila volumi). Nel 1989 vinse il Premio Strega con il romanzo La grande sera, un affresco spietato della società italiana degli anni ’80.
