Anna Maria Ortese

Anna Maria Ortese (1914-1998), autrice de L’iguana, Il porto di Toledo e Alonso e i visionari, siede nello stretto pantheon dei grandi scrittori italiani del Novecento. Ha ricevuto il Premio Strega per il suo romanzo più noto al grande pubblico, Poveri e semplici, e il Premio Viareggio. Nel 1975 si trasferisce con la sorella a Rapallo dove rimane fino alla morte.

Nel 2018 è stato creato il “Premio L’Iguana”, in onore della scrittrice.
